What we build
One app per job, done properly
Each app is focused, native to Shopify, and honest about what it does. More are shipping.
Feed Guard
Fix Google Merchant disapprovals before they cost you sales.
Finds and fixes the products Google disapproves right in your store with one approval, every change reversible. Alerts only when something actually breaks.
Stellaforge
Sell personalized birth-chart posters, made to order.
Buyers enter their birth details and Stellaforge builds a branded, print-ready poster on every order - delivered automatically, with no design work.
More apps shipping
We build one focused tool at a time. New apps land on the Shopify App Store as they're ready.
The studio
Focused Shopify apps, built to last
One app, one job
Most app stores are full of tools that do ten things adequately. We build the opposite: one app that does a single job properly, native to your Shopify admin, with no second dashboard to learn. Feed Guard keeps your Google feed approved; Stellaforge turns birth details into made-to-order posters. Each one earns its place on its own.
Native, reversible, quiet
Every app writes changes through Shopify's own APIs, previews them before they apply, and lets you roll any of them back. They stay quiet when nothing needs you and speak up only when something actually breaks. No lock-in, no exported files, no surprise edits to your store.
Built by one person who ships
makseong is an independent studio, not an agency pipeline. That means slower breadth but real depth: the person who writes the code answers your email. New apps land on the Shopify App Store as they're ready, and free scanners come first so you can see the problem before you pay for the fix.
FAQ
About the studio
An independent studio building focused Shopify apps. Each app does one job well and runs natively inside your store. Two are live or launching; more are on the way.
Each app has a free scan or trial so you can see the value first. Feed Guard's full feed scan is free; Stellaforge has a 14-day trial. Paid plans are simple monthly pricing through the Shopify App Store.
No. Every change is previewed and needs your approval before it applies, and any change can be rolled back. The apps use Shopify's official APIs, so there's no theme hacking and no lock-in.
The studio ships its own focused apps rather than custom one-off builds. If you have a problem an app doesn't cover yet, tell us - it may be the next one we build.
Email [email protected]. The person who builds the apps reads it, so answers come from someone who actually knows the code.
